When stored in a sealed condition at a temperature of 18–22°C and 50% humidity, the tape can maintain its quality without significant changes for up to 2 years.

Once 3M products are firmly bonded, their adhesion only becomes stronger over time under the environmental conditions permitted by the product material specifications—it does not weaken. So far, there have been no reports of tape detachment due to prolonged use. Currently, the longest recorded usage of 3M adhesive tape exceeds 30 years without any issues.

Our adhesive tapes range in price from as low as 3 RMB to as high as 300 RMB per square meter. We provide the most suitable adhesive solutions based on factors such as thickness, structure, temperature and weather resistance, stress tolerance, surface type, waterproof performance, bonding strength, special functions, and environmental requirements.

We offer specialized high-temperature resistant tapes with thicknesses ranging from 0.05 mm to 1.6 mm, capable of withstanding up to 260°C for short periods (e.g., during reflow soldering). We even have special tapes with release liners that can also withstand temperatures up to 260°C. Additionally, we provide professional low-temperature resistant tapes that can endure temperatures as low as -40°C, and some of them can even be applied and bonded under low-temperature conditions.

VHB tapes are waterproof and can achieve IPX7 rating (protection against immersion). Other types of tape structures can only provide splash resistance if they are either without a backing material or use a PET backing.

Surface cleanliness: Clean the surface using organic solvents such as industrial alcohol or isopropanol.

Temperature and humidity: Maintain an environment around 22°C with approximately 50% humidity.

Pressure: Apply a pressure of 15 PSI and hold it for 5–7 seconds.

Time: Full adhesion is achieved after 72 hours, reaching 100% bonding strength.

1. Bonding of cooling cups: In bulb lights, adhesives are used to bond the LED chip substrate with the heat dissipation base, while also providing thermal conductivity. In this application, the adhesive tape needs to be die-cut into shapes specified by the customer.

2. Bonding of flexible circuit board light strips: This application is more suitable for using thermal conductive adhesive tape, as using thermal grease would result in considerable process complexity.

3. Development of different models of thermal conductive adhesive tapes with varying thermal conductivity levels: These are used for connection and heat conduction between electronic product chips and heat sinks, and are particularly suitable for dissipating heat from low-power chips that generate minimal heat.

4. Bonding and heat dissipation of LED light bars in electronic products and household appliances.
